Updates to your franking machine

As of 1st July 2020, Royal Mail are increasing the price of parcel services into the USA and introducing a new World Zone 3. The introduction of World Zone 3 takes into account two factors. Last year the method countries use to set their postal rates changed and subsequently Royal Mail have seen significant increases in the overseas delivery cost to the USA. Also, the impact of coronavirus has led to shortages in air capacity and an escalation in carrier costs.

Parcel Prices are changing for the following International Services to the USA:

   • International Standard
   • International Tracking
   • International Tracked and Signed

During this week, we have set up the download so that the new file will download without any intervention directly after the machine has connected for either a balance enquiry, refill or data capture upload. Please could you do this as soon as possible.

The new rates have now been stored and will activate on the 1^st July, by carrying out a balance enquiry on the 1^st July. Royal Mail will be sending out correspondence within the next week or so to confirm the new postal rates or visit their website.
