Ashcroft sponsor Exercise Mountain Storm

We were recently contacted by a 16 year old Cadet who lives locally to us in Redditch. He attends Redditch 216 Squadron Air Cadets. He and 21 other cadets from all over the UK are taking part in Exercise Mountain Storm. This is a 6-day, unsupported expedition through the Canadian Rockies with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets in July 2023. They have gone through rigorous training leading up to this including testing their survival abilities and team working skills.

the expedition has twice previously been awarded the Shackleton Trophy, which is presented to the best overseas expedition in the UK Cadet armed forces.
