Changes to International Parcel and Letter Prices from 1st September 2020
Prices are changing for Royal Mail parcel and letter products from 1 September 2020
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Royal Mail are continuing to experience steep increases in overseas delivery costs. The pandemic has resulted in shortages in air capacity and subsequent increases in air carrier costs to most countries overseas.
Unfortunately, Royal Mail are no longer able to absorb these costs in their existing pricing. In order to manage the impact of these increased costs, which are beyond their control, it is with regret that they need to adjust their prices accordingly.
For franking services these price changes will come in the form of a straightforward increase on the actual product price.
Parcels, Letters and Large Letter prices are changing for the following Franking services:
- International Tracked & Signed
- International Tracked
- International Signed
- International Standard
- International Economy (parcels only).
During this week, we have set up the download so that the new file will download without any intervention directly after the machine has connected for either a balance enquiry, refill or data capture upload. Please could you do this as soon as possible.
The new rates have now been stored and will activate on the 1st September, by carrying out a balance enquiry on the 1st September.
