More charity donations!

As a company we like to work closely with our customers, especially when it comes to supporting charities. So we were delighted to help our long standing customer Andrew Grant Estate Agents, in their quest to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice and Child Bereavement UK.

St Richard’s Hospice

St Richard’s Hospice cares for patients and families in Worcestershire who are living with life-threatening illnesses. Each year they give free care and support to around 2,600 patients and their families – helping them towards the best quality of life possible. St Richard’s Hospice was established in 1984 and is a local independent, Worcestershire charity. St Richard’s Hospice was founded in Droitwich and as the demand for hospice care increased the hospice moved in 2006 to its new location in Wildwood Drive, Worcester.

In the last year the hospice has cared for 1,195 patients and more than 1,000 family members, carers and loved ones.

Child Bereavement UK

Child Bereavement UK supports bereaved children, young people and families in rebuilding their lives after a baby or child dies, or when a child is facing bereavement, as well as training the professionals who come into contact with them in the course of their work.

Their ambition is to significantly increase the bereavement support they offer across the UK to reach many more children, young people and families, particularly in locations where no bereavement services exist and areas of economic deprivation where the prevalence and impact of child bereavement are greatest. They also aim to grow the number of professionals they train each year, so they are better equipped to support bereaved families in their daily work.
