Ashcroft Tee Off for Myton Hospices Charity Golf Day

Ashcroft Mailing take part in the 3rd annual Myton Hospices Charity Golf day.

On 27th September 2018, Ashcroft took part in the Myton Hospice Charity Golf Day at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club.

Our team of putters were Don, Simon and Jack otherwise known as ‘Weapons of Grass Destruction’.  The boys were up against 20 other teams on the day and unfortunately our team of novices were unable to win themselves place. However, this did not hinder them from having a thoroughly good day and raising some money for this amazing charity.

We are very pleased to hear that the total amount raised on the day was £14,000! This money will have a huge impact on not only the charity but also the lives of patients and families within our local community.

About The Myton Hospices

The Myton Hospices are leaders in compassionate end of life care. They have 3 hospices across Coventry and Warwickshire and last year supported more than 1,400 people and their families, via their patient and family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. This year they need to raise £9.6 million to enable them to continue to provide their care. To achieve this target Myton Hospices hold a variety of events, like the golf day, throughout the year and rely on donations from the public.
